Holiday program in Montessori Primary classroom

Oh wow, November is done and the busy holiday month of December is here.

We usually do a holiday program in the classroom on the last working day of December and invite the parents/family to attend.

Program is usually for about 10-15 minutes, children sing a few holiday songs which is followed by cookie decorating in class.

One of my most favorite songs that we sing in the program is :

“Light a candle for peace”   http://singpeacearoundtheworld.com/teach-downloads/

This year we have decided to do a “Multicultural themed Holiday program” – Stay tuned for my next post with details !!

So what are some fun ways you celebrate the holidays at your school ?
