Electronic Screen Syndrome

We hosted a “Parent Education Event”  on “Effects of screen time and brain development” at our Montessori School last week.

For this event, I researched on the work done by Dr. Victoria Dunckley, MD – her youtube talks and book authored by her on this topic.

Symptoms of “Electronic Screen Syndrome” are as follows:

  • Sensory overload
  • Lack of restorative sleep
  • Hyper aroused nervous system
  • Impulsive behavior
  • Moody
  • Unable to pay attention
