Winter activities for January -1

1. Pin prick outline of “Antarctica” , can also

glue on blue construction paper and write name of continent.

2. Draw outline of mitten on different colored construction paper and have children pin prick it out.

3. Snowman ⛄️ craft

Trace small sized knobless cylinder ‘3’ times on white paper.

Trace outline of ‘hat’ on black paper.

Put black construction paper strips and hole punch in the work basket.

Also, put “5 1/2 x 5 1/2” sized construction paper in the work basket for children to glue their snowman on after they are done pin pricking and hole punching.

These above works are relatively easy to set up and children as young as ‘3’  can do it by themselves .

Looking to add more winter related activities in the following weeks in my classroom – stay tuned for details .
